Kevin Valentine, VP of LP
Sterling, Inc.

As Vice president of Loss Prevention for Sterling Jewelers Inc., Kevin Valentine is responsible for the administration of all Loss Prevention, Internal Audit, Inventory Control and Facility Security programs. Sterling Jewelers Inc. is the largest specialty retail jeweler in the country and operates 1,400 retail jewelry stores in 50 states under the trade names of Kay’s, J.B. Robinsons, Beldens, Goodman, Hudson Goodman, Rogers, LeRoys, Weisfields, Ostermans, and Jared the Galleria of Jewelry.

Mr. Valentine has 30 years experience in the field of retail loss prevention, 24 of those years have been with Sterling Jewelers Inc. He has held other retail loss prevention positions with companies such as Lerner Shops and G.C. Murphy Co.     

Mr. Valentine is a member of the NRF Loss Prevention Advisory Board, Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) Advisory Board, Telecheck Advisory Board, Loss Prevention Research Council Advisory Board and a member of the American Society for Industrial Security and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
