Why did you become a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI)?
I became a CFI to challenge myself and also set an example for my employees. The test was not easy and maintaining the certification keeps me on my toes.
What is the most valuable tool you have learned from being a CFI?
Patience. A lot of the time interviews can be tense and the employee being interviewed sometimes exhibits too much unproductive energy. I have learned to sit quietly and pretend to read a report until the interview subject calms down. Then I proceed with the introductory statement.
Do you use social media? If so which ones?
What are you passionate about?
Helping our returning veteran’s adjust back to civilian life.
Who do you most admire? Who is your favorite person? Why?
I most admire Clint Eastwood. My favorite person outside of anyone in my family is Ronald Regan because he was a great president.
If you could trade places for a day with anyone, who would it be?
If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you bring?
A solar panel, a lighter, and a book.
What’s your favorite movie?
